Less Government Leasing?

A recent Washing Post article highlighted an order by the Obama administration to reduce federal building costs.  This could result in reductions in federal leasing requirements for commercial space. Although this isn't the primary mover for leases in the middle Tennessee area, this could result in decreased demand for office space.  If the goverment abandons government-owned buildings, this could make some attractive locations available, however.

Areas in which government operations are a significant presence should feel the impact more.
